Capital One Bank – off the hook!
Feb. 27 – The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) on Thursday dismissed its Biden-era lawsuit against Capital One that alleged the bank had cheated customers out of more than $2 billion in savings account interest.

- $21 billion+: Amount of monetary compensation, principal reductions, canceled debts, and other consumer relief resulting from CFPB enforcement ($19 billion) and supervisory ($1.7 billion) work.
