High Cost of Rent
According to the 2023 report of the National Low Income Housing Coalition, in no state or metropolitan area can a US worker earning minimum wage afford a modest two-bedroom rental home at fair market rent value by working a 40-hour week.
To say this is an affordable housing crisis is an understatement.
