Illinois Minimum Wage Up to $15
The 2019 minimum wage law marked the first increase since 2010 when the rate was $8.25. The 2025 rate of $15 will stand as the highest rate under the 2019 law. A worker would need to earn $18.72 per hour today in order to have the same buying power as $15 had in 2019.
