Small Business As The Engine Of The Economy
April 30, 2024: The U.S. government announced an extraordinary growth of small businesses in the past three years, noting the strongest years of new business application rates on record-with Americans filing a record 17.2 million new business applications.
Small businesses owned by historically underserved populations “are growing at near-historic rates, with Black business ownership growing at the fastest pace in 30 years and Latino business ownership growing at the fastest pace in more than a decade,”
